Hello friends! I'm Hailey, the mama behind Hailey De Marre Photography. 

I started photography as a way to capture my firstborn son in 2018. What started as a hobby quickly became something I knew I wanted to pursue professionally. I began photographing everything and everyone that I could, but didn't find my niche until late 2019. 

It was then, just before becoming pregnant with my second son, that I really recognized just how much capturing maternity and motherhood really lights a fire in my soul. 

I couldn't ignore it. Every time I saw a pregnant belly, all I could think about what how I wanted to capture its special shape. the glow of the woman to whom it belonged, and the love that created it all.
 
I had also fallen in love with capturing the tiny newborns of these beautiful mamas. The perfectly puckered lips, the little noses, the sleepy eyes, even the little fingernails. All of it became so important and I was so proud to be able to capture it through my lens. To make sure that moment in time would never be lost.
 
Beyond that, I love being able to watch and capture a family as they grow. Motherhood, parenthood, is such a special time and one that I know -all too well- is fleeting. I want to preserve as much of it as I can.

As things in my life got a little more chaotic in 2020, photography remained the same. It was a creative outlet that helped keep me sane through my separation and divorce. It's now become a crucial part of income that my family relies upon. I am so lucky to do something I love so much to help make ends meet.
